PME Impression Mat Waves

Create gorgeous patterns with the PME Impression Mat Wave.

This impression mat is ideal for use with fondant, modelling paste, gum paste or marzipan. Both sides of the mat can be used to create the pattern. One side gives you a raised relief on the fondant, and the other side an embossed relief.

Knead the fondant well and roll it out on icing sugar to an even thickness. Choose the side of the mat you want to use for the design.

Press the mat down firmly using a smoother to transfer the pattern into the fondant. All parts of the mat must be pressed firmly into the fondant.

Remove the mat.

Spray with edible lustre to enhance the pattern.
