With the FunCakes mix for sponge cake you can easily create the best base for your cake. This easy-to-prepare baking mix lets you make fluffy, tall sponge cakes of patisserie quality. You bake a beautifully flat and tasty cake that you can then decorate however you like.

With this baking mix you can easily make a wonderfully light sponge cake, the perfect base for many cakes.
Just add eggs and water to bake a perfectly even, fluffy cake. The cake already has a delicious vanilla flavour, but you can add some lemon zest or a flavouring if you want to enhance the taste.
With this sponge mix you can make delicious cakes of patisserie quality.

Preparation: you will find proportions and baking times in the quantity table on the packaging or at www.funcakes.com. Preheat the oven to 175 °C (fan oven 160 °C). The ingredients must be at room temperature. Put the mix, the eggs and the water in a bowl. Mix for 7-8 minutes at high speed. Then mix for another 2-3 minutes at low speed. Pour the batter into a buttered baking tin (1/2 to 2/3 full). Put the cake in the oven and do not open it while baking! The cake is done when it feels springy. Release the cake from the tin straight after baking and leave it to cool on a wire rack.
