This cookie cutter was designed with great attention to detail. The cookie cutter is made of tinplate. Tinplate is a traditional material that was used in every household for decades. The surface is protected against rust but not rustproof, so it is not dishwasher safe. We recommend washing the cutter after use and drying it well straight away. Grandma's tip for drying it perfectly: after washing and drying, leave the tinplate cutters on a warm radiator overnight, or put them in the still-warm oven straight after baking until it has cooled down.
